Prevention and protection of public order

A police officer from the MRC Portneuf station has been arrested for posting on social media in recent weeks. In it, little Philemon (age 5), who lives in St. Alban, told how he collected banks to save up the money he needed to buy a cage for his hamster, Cowboy. After discussing with his boss, the agent contacted his work partners. As a team, they organized something to celebrate Philemon’s efforts. The little boy and his mother were invited to the MRC Portneuf post so that he could visit the facilities. Apparently the boy was able to get into the patrol car. At the end of the visit, a pleasant surprise awaited him. The members of the detachment collected their jars and offered them all to him. The boy was very impressed with the size of the bag. He fully appreciated and benefited from his meeting with the police and his visit to the station. What’s more, his efforts allowed him to acquire the cage for his hamster that he dreamed of.
